Don’t let money stress swallow you whole. As the charges pile up, and as your credit cards get loaded up, money fears can steal your focus and turn you into a mess. Of course it’s unrealistic for me to say, “Don’t worry about the money” since we’re all worried about money right now.
Just make a conscious effort to balance what you think about. If you’re sweating the bills, flip through your gratitude journal and your bridal binder to get your mind switched over to all of the wonderful things about your wedding. Listen to some of the songs you’ll be dancing to at the wedding, and transport yourself back into anticipation of a gorgeous day. Visualize what it’s going to be like to see your groom waiting for you at the end of the aisle.
You will, of course, make smart money decisions each step of the way, and you’ll make even smarter money decisions if you regularly balance what you’re thinking about, move out of money panic, and not allow financial fears to ruin this entire season for you. It’s all in what you’re focusing on, so make equal if not more time for the good stuff!
